You can call me a mountain goat from now on. Jokes. I only half-conquered the
highest point of Nyika today. Nonetheless I got some fabulous views and a great
workout out of it.
I have been very good with my yoga routine lately. I got up earlier just to do
some stretching and balance exercises and even managed to squeeze in a quick
meditation sess. See, I told you guys I will be needing that yoga mat! Though I
doubt I will bring it back home with me, given it has been to places and I
probably will be over with my luggage as is.
My eating routine is also getting better. I have been adding protein powder to
my morning weet-bix and sprinkling nutritional yeast on pretty much every
single dish we’ve had for the last couple of days. I would also like to point
out that I am drinking spirulina water as we speak. It doesn’t taste half as
disgusting as I had thought. I normally mix it in with my smoothies, but since
we don’t have electricity, blender or fresh fruit, I decided to test it out in
water. Palatable! To make sure I wouldn’t get too healthy though, I added a
little beer to my weekly menu. No regrets, it totes hit the spot!
